Summer Daily Schedule for Kids

Sharing is caring!

A summer time daily schedule for kids during quarantine

Summer is here and I still cant believe it. These past few months have all jumbled together and I frequently don’t know what day it is. With homeschool being over, our homeschool schedule has stopped. Without a schedule I feel like I can’t get anything done, or if if I do get anything done, I am doing it while running around like a chicken with its head cut off.. haha. NO, but really, these days have been so hectic and I don’t know what I need to do when. Not to mention with not being able to leave the house to do normal summer activities, and summer camp, the days are harder and longer.

I don’t know about you, but I thrive off of schedules. I like a schedule to have to loosely follow as a general what should I do when. A schedule is no means set in stone, but it is a good outline to follow through out the day. Kids also thrive off of schedules, well at least mine do. They like a routine, and this summer daily schedule for kids provides just that.

Finding the Right Schedule

Our days around here start pretty early, Oliver is always awake before 7am and the girls rise shortly after. So, feel free to change up the times as you see fit for your family.

Also, I have dedicated time to do household chores a few times in this daily schedule. This by all means is not what you have to do, but it is what works for me. I love a clean house and set aside time to keep our house mostly clean, most of the time.

If you need some tips on how to keep your house clean this post will be VERY helpful.

I’ve also set aside time to do work. Which means answer all the emails, make doctor appointments, and do all the things, us as moms need to do (on top of all the other things). If you work from home, or are currently working from home due to the quarantine hopefully this schedule will work for you as well.
