What you need to know about botox and fillers! Answering your most frequently asked questions!
This week I opened up about about my decision to get botox and fillers. It wasn’t easy to be honest about my choice especially in the social media world. The internet can be SO cruel!! But, I always want to be open and honest to all of you. I want to share my experience to help educate you if you have been thinking about entering the realm of botox of fillers.
There are are many women who have thought about or even considered botox and or fillers. I know this because I received SO many and DM’s about it. My hope is to give as much information about this topic from my own personal experience.
Botox and Fillers may not be for everyone, but I truly believe that if there is something you don’t like, change it. You do YOU!!!
I can not stress this more!! Fillers and botox can be easily botched!!! Make sure you do your homework! This is your face we are talking about! Always look at reviews, before and afters and ask lots of questions!!
If you are in the Houston area I highly suggest Dr. Courtney. He is so patient, gentle and kind. He will also never tell you what you need which is what I love about him. Dr. Courtney truly respects every patient and listens to your questions and concerns.
Dr. Courtney is a board certified plastic surgeon and is highly skilled in his field. I am telling you, he knows his stuff!!!!
Injectable dermal fillers use scientifically advanced formulations to restore volume and smooth away fine lines, wrinkles, and facial folds – while simultaneously hydrating the deep layers of your skin. With a quick series of tiny injections in strategically selected facial areas, dermal fillers can make you look and feel your best, and for a fraction of the cost of plastic surgery, with no downtime.
It is not only safe but is also completely reversible! It is my second time getting fillers, and I have LOVED the results!!
I had Restylane to the Tear Troughs (undereye area) to correct any hollowness and “pop” the eyes open. This filler lasts about 12+ months before a touch up could be needed. I will also add I did not bruise at all. Sometimes bruising and swelling can occur, but luckily I didn’t. You pay for the entire syringe and I used only a small portion of it for my undereye. Once the syringe is open you can use the rest of the filler in other areas if you choose.
Other areas include lips, cheeks, and jawline.
Not at all. They applied a topical numbing cream to my face. I felt some tiny pinches, but I was not uncomfortable at all. I am telling you, Dr. Courtney does an amazing job!
BOTOX®, Jeuveau™ (also known as “Newtox”), and Dysport® are advanced, FDA-approved neuromodulator formulas designed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. With a series of quick injections strategically placed in certain areas of the face, you can temporarily smooth away the unwanted signs of aging to look refreshed and youthful!
It takes about 5 to 7 days to see the results of Botox. This is my first time getting botox and I got it in my Forehead and Crows Feet.
I’ll keep you updated on the botox since it has not been a full 5 to 7 days.
