These juicy spinach and feta burgers are packed with Mediterranean flavor, melty mozzarella, fresh parsley, and crunchy panko breadcrumbs. They’re the perfect healthier twist on a classic burger — quick to make, full of flavor, and perfect for weeknight dinners or summer grilling.
Ground beef or turkey
Fresh spinach, and chopped
Crumbled feta cheese
Shredded mozzarella cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped
Onion, diced (optional)
Garlic, minced
Panko breadcrumbs
Egg
Oregano, salt, and black pepper
Shape mixture into 4–6 even-sized burger patties.
Heat a grill pan, skillet, or outdoor grill over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F for beef or 165°F for turkey.
Serve burgers on toasted buns with your favorite toppings such as tzatziki, cucumbers, tomatoes, or caramelized onions or serve as is.
Fresh raw spinach works perfectly—just chop it small so it blends into the meat.
Swap mozzarella for cheddar or gouda if you want a cheesier, richer flavor.
To make gluten-free, use almond flour or gluten-free panko instead of breadcrumbs.
These patties freeze well—form ahead, freeze on a baking sheet, then store in a freezer bag. Cook straight from frozen, adding a few minutes to the cook time.
