This no-bake Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Ball is simple, adorable, and perfect for Valentine’s Day!

Ingredients

Scale

  • 3/4 cup Red Velvet cake mix
  • 1 stick of butter, softened
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 large container of Valentine’s Day sprinkles

Side Suggestions: This is really up to you! I’d recommend animal crackers, graham crackers, Golden Oreos, Nilla Wafers, large marshmallows, apple slices, or strawberries.

Substitutions: For a slightly healthier modification of this Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Ball, you can make the following tweaks:

  • Swap out the stick of butter for 1/2 cup I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter or margarine
  • Replace cream cheese with reduced-fat cream cheese
  • Use fruit for dipping sides.

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients besides the sprinkles in a large mixing bowl and mix well until combined.
  • Place mixture on a plate and roll into a ball.
  • Flatten the ball with the palm of your hand and mold it into a heart shape.
  • Cover the heart shape with sprinkles.

Tip: You can still use the rest of the Red Velvet cake mix to make cupcakes or a smaller cake so it’s not wasted, just use slightly less than the added ingredients on the box mix.
