Cheesy Jack-O’-Lantern Quesadilla

A fun and easy Halloween dinner made with taco-seasoned beef, beans, salsa, and layers of melty Kraft cheese — baked into a smiling Jack-O’-Lantern shape everyone will love!

Ingredients

  • 8 large flour tortillas

  • 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)

  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or 23 tbsp homemade blend)

  • ½ cup diced white onion

  • ½ cup black beans, drained and rinsed

  • 1/4 cup salsa

  • 1 can refried beans

  • 1½ cups Kraft Mexican Blend Shredded Cheese

  • 1 cup Kraft Sharp Cheddar Cheese

  • Butter or olive oil spray

  • Optional toppings: sour cream, guacamole, salsa, green onions

Instructions

  • preheat oven to 400°F and grease a 12-inch pizza pan.

  • Overlap 7 tortillas around the pan, letting edges hang over.

  • Spread refried beans evenly over the tortillas.

  • Sprinkle a layer of Kraft Mexican Blend Cheese.

  • In a skillet, cook ground beef with onion. Add taco seasoning, black beans, and salsa. Stir until combined and slightly thickened.

  • Spread the meat mixture over the cheese layer.

  • Add a layer of Kraft Sharp Cheddar Cheese on top.

  • Fold tortilla edges toward the center to seal.

  • Top with a tortilla cut into a Jack-O’-Lantern face (You can add more cheese under this layer to secure it to the top)

  • Lightly spray with oil , Top with another baking sheet,  and bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden and bubbly.

  • Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with your favorite dips.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: Assemble earlier in the day, refrigerate, and bake just before serving.

  • Vegetarian Option: Replace meat with extra beans, corn, and diced peppers.

  • Spicy Option: Use hot salsa or add diced jalapeños to the filling.
