These spooky spider hot dogs are the ultimate kid-friendly Halloween snack! Made with hot dogs, crescent roll dough, and candy eyes, they’re fun, festive, and so easy to make. Perfect for Halloween parties, trick-or-treat night, or a spooky family dinner.
1 package hot dogs (12 count)
1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (or biscuit dough)
Candy eyes (or small dots of mustard/ketchup) for eyes
Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut each hot dog in half. Slice each half lengthwise about 2/3 of the way up to create “legs.” Flip and slice again so each hot dog half has 8 thin legs, leaving the top intact for the “body.”
Wrap a thin strip of crescent roll dough around the top portion of each hot dog to form the spider’s body.
Arrange the spider hot dogs on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake 12–15 minutes, until the dough is golden brown and the hot dog “legs” curl slightly.
Remove from the oven. Add candy eyes or small dots of mustard/ketchup for the eyes. Serve warm!
Legs: For curlier spider legs, slice them thinner.
Make Ahead: Assemble in advance and refrigerate; bake just before serving.
Cheesy Twist: Add a small piece of cheese under the dough wrap for extra flavor.
