These Frozen Whipped Cream Snowman Toppers are the sweetest, easiest way to dress up your hot chocolate. Made with fluffy whipped cream, marshmallow faces, and pretzel arms, they melt into the coziest drink you’ll sip all season long.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups whipped cream (or 1 container of Cool Whip; see note for homemade option)

  • 810 marshmallow snowman faces (I found mine at Walmart in the holiday baking aisle)

  • 1620 mini pretzel sticks (about 2 per snowman for arms)

  • Optional flavor add-ins:

    • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract or peppermint extract

    • 1 tablespoon white chocolate syrup (for extra sweetness)

    • 1 tablespoon crushed peppermint candies (for color and crunch)

Homemade Whipped Cream Option:
Whip together 1 cup heavy whipping cream, 2 tablespoons powdered sugar, and ½ teaspoon vanilla extract until soft peaks form.

Instructions

  • Prepare the mold: Place your silicone mold on a small baking sheet so it’s easy to move into the freezer.

  • Fill with whipped cream: Spoon or pipe about 2 tablespoons of whipped cream into each mold cavity, smoothing the tops with a spatula.

  • Decorate: Gently press one marshmallow snowman face into the center of each round and insert two pretzel sticks for arms.

  • Freeze solid: Place the tray in the freezer for at least 4 hours or overnight until completely firm.

  • Serve: Pop out a frozen topper and float it on top of a warm mug of hot chocolate. Watch your snowman slowly melt into a creamy swirl!

Notes

  • For best results, use stabilized whipped cream — it freezes smoother and melts creamier.

  • Store frozen toppers in a freezer-safe container with parchment paper between layers.

  • These last up to 1 month in the freezer.

  • If you can’t find marshmallow snowman faces, make your own using candy eyes and orange sprinkle noses.
