Ingredients
10–12 slices brioche bread
10–12 slices cheddar or Colby Jack cheese
4tablespoonsmelted butter
1teaspoonItalian seasoning or chopped fresh herbs
Tomato soupwarmed for serving
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place cheese slices between two pieces of brioche bread to form sandwiches.
Use Christmas cookie cutters (trees, candy canes, gingerbread men, etc.) to cut the sandwiches into festive shapes.
Brush the tops with melted butter mixed with herbs.
Bake 6–8 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges are lightly golden.
