Ingredients

  • Plastic funnel
  • Paper gift filler shredded paper
  • Valentine candy assorted
  • Small gifts optional
  • Gift card optional
  • Aluminum foil
  • Pink foil wrap
  • Red foil wrap
  • Tape
  • Scissors
  • Computer paper for label
  • Printer or marker

Instructions

  • Set up the funnel. Place the plastic funnel upright with the wide opening at the top.
  • Add filler first. Drop a small handful of paper gift filler into the funnel to create a base and help hold the treats in place.
  • Fill with treats + gifts. Add Valentine candy, small surprises, and an optional gift card (tuck the gift card into the center so it’s hidden).
  • Wrap with aluminum foil. Cover the entire funnel with a large sheet of aluminum foil, smoothing it down as you wrap to create the classic Hershey Kiss shape. Fold and pinch the foil neatly at the top.
  • Add Valentine foil layers. Wrap pink and red foil over the aluminum foil for a festive look. Tape everything securely, taping on the back when possible for a cleaner finish.
  • Add the “Hershey’s” label. Print the word “Hershey’s” on computer paper, cut it out, and tape it near the top of the jumbo kiss.
  • Finish with a tag strip (optional). Cut a thin strip of paper and tape it sticking out of the top like the classic Hershey Kiss paper tag. Write “XOXO” or “Happy Valentine’s Day!” if you want.
  • Smooth + gift. Smooth the foil one last time, fluff the shape, and your jumbo Hershey kiss is ready to gift!

Notes

Gift card tip: Fold the gift card and place it in the center first, then fill candy around it so it stays hidden.
Make ahead: These can be made 3–5 days ahead and stored in a cool, dry place.
Best candy options: Mini chocolates, conversation hearts, wrapped gummies, or small treats that won’t melt easily.
Transport tip: Stand them upright in a box or basket with tissue paper around them to prevent dents in the foil.
