Dump and Bake Carrot Cake Recipe

This dump and bake carrot cake with cake mix is ultra moist, made with simple ingredients, and topped with cream cheese frosting—perfect for Easter or an easy spring dessert!

Ingredients

Cake:

  • 2 cups shredded carrots
  • 1 20 oz crushed pineapple (with juice)
  • 1 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 box spice cake mix
  • ½ cup butter

Frosting:

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 –3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 dish.
  • Add carrots and pineapple.
  • Pour condensed milk over top.
  • Sprinkle cake mix evenly—do not stir.
  • Add butter slices evenly.
  • Bake 45–50 minutes until golden.
  • Cool completely.
  • Beat frosting ingredients and spread over cake.
