Ingredients

  • 1 12-count package Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 3 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 8 slices bacon cooked crisp and crumbled
  • cup ranch dressing divided
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 green onions thinly sliced (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms connected. Place the bottom half into the prepared baking dish.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cooked bacon, and ½ cup ranch dressing. Stir until everything is evenly coated. If needed, add another tablespoon or two of ranch to keep the mixture creamy.
  • Spread the remaining ranch dressing over the cut side of the bottom rolls.
  • Sprinkle about 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese over the ranch layer.
  • Evenly spread the chicken mixture over the cheese.
  • Top with the remaining cheddar cheese, then place the top half of the Hawaiian rolls over everything.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and dried parsley. Brush the mixture generously over the tops of the rolls.
  • Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  • Let the sliders rest for about 5 minutes before slicing. Sprinkle with sliced green onions, if desired, and serve warm.
