This easy Grilled Pizza is a delicious new way to make homemade pizza during the summer. Crispy and charred, it's perfect for outdoor entertaining and gets a crispy pizzeria-style crust every time.

Ingredients
1poundpizza doughstore-bought or homemade
2tablespoonsolive oil
½cuppizza sauce
2cupsshredded mozzarella cheese
20–25 pepperoni slices
2tablespoonsgrated Parmesan cheese
1teaspoonItalian seasoning
Fresh basilfor garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat a grill to medium-high heat (about 400–450°F).
Divide the dough into 2 equal portions and stretch into oval-shaped pizzas.
Brush one side of each pizza dough with olive oil.
Place the dough, oil-side down, directly on the grill grates. Grill for 2–3 minutes until grill marks appear and the dough begins to firm up.
Brush the top side with olive oil and carefully flip the dough.
Quickly spread pizza sauce over the grilled side. Top with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning.
Close the grill lid and cook for 4–6 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is cooked through.
Remove from the grill and let rest for 2 minutes.
Garnish with fresh basil if desired, slice, and serve.
Notes
Storage:
Store leftovers wrapped in foil or in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven at 350° until crust crisps up and cheese is melty.
Leftover pizza can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 months. Thaw in the fridge overnight before reheating in the oven as instructed above.
Prep the dough and toppings in advance — store each component separately in the fridge until ready to use. Bring the dough to room temperature before stretching out, then grill as the recipe instructs.
