Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup white cake mix heat treated and cooled
  • 1 1/2 cups Philadelphia No Bake Cheesecake Filling
  • 1 cup Cool Whip thawed
  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff
  • 1/4 cup patriotic sprinkles plus more for topping

Optional Dippers

  • Vanilla wafers
  • Graham crackers
  • Pretzels
  • Strawberries
  • Animal crackers
  • Sugar cookies
  • Marshmallows

Instructions

  • Spread the dry cake mix evenly onto a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for about 5 minutes, or microwave until it reaches 165 degrees to heat treat the flour. Allow the cake mix to cool completely before using.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the Philadelphia no bake cheesecake filling and marshmallow fluff. Mix until completely smooth, creamy, and fully incorporated.
  • Add the cooled heat-treated cake mix to the bowl and stir until no dry pockets remain and the mixture becomes thick and creamy.
  • Gently fold in the Cool Whip using a spatula until the dip becomes light, fluffy, and airy. Be careful not to overmix so the texture stays soft and mousse-like.
  • Fold in the patriotic sprinkles, reserving a few extra sprinkles for topping before serving.
  • Cover and refrigerate the funfetti dip for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend together and the texture to thicken slightly.
  • Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, top with extra sprinkles, and serve chilled with cookies, pretzels, fruit, graham crackers, or your favorite dessert board snacks.

Notes

  • Always heat treat the cake mix before adding it to the dip to make it safe to eat.
  • For birthdays, swap the white cake mix for funfetti cake mix for even more sprinkles and birthday cake flavor.
  • Easily customize this recipe for any holiday by changing the sprinkle colors.
  • This dip tastes best served cold straight from the refrigerator.
  • If making ahead, wait to add the final sprinkle topping until just before serving to prevent color bleeding.
  • Full fat cheesecake filling and regular Cool Whip create the creamiest and fluffiest texture.
  • This recipe is perfect for dessert charcuterie boards, summer cookouts, birthdays, baby showers, and holiday parties.
