Ingredients

  • 6 chicken thighs bone-in or boneless
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter optional for extra richness
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes sprinkled before baking

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease or line a 9x13 baking dish with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, mix together flour, salt, and paprika. Lightly coat chicken thighs in the mixture, shaking off any excess.
  • Arrange the chicken evenly in the baking dish.
  • In another bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour evenly over the chicken to coat.
  • Sprinkle red pepper flakes over the top for a hint of heat and color.
  • Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake uncovered for 15 minutes, or until chicken reaches 165°F and the glaze is thick and golden.
  • For an extra caramelized finish, broil for 1–2 minutes, watching closely.
  • Spoon the extra sauce over the chicken before serving.

Notes

Storage:
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. To reheat, warm in a skillet over medium heat until the sauce becomes sticky again. Add a splash of water or chicken broth if needed to loosen the glaze.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 months. Thaw in the fridge overnight before reheating and serving again.
Tips:
  • Double the honey garlic mixture if you want extra sauce for drizzling over rice or veggies.
  • This recipe also works well with chicken drumsticks or breasts — adjust cooking time as needed.
  • Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables for a full meal.
