Hot Honey Chipotle Cream Cheese Layered Dip

Ingredients

  • 16 oz whipped cream cheese
  • Local Hive Hot Original Honey to drizzle
  • 7 oz can chipotle pepper in adobo drained and finely minced
  • ¼ cup strawberry or raspberry jam
  • 1 cup chopped fresh cilantro about 2 bunches
  • 1 small jalapeño diced (or to taste)
  • 2 –3 tablespoons finely diced white or yellow onion
  • 2 –3 tablespoons finely diced red onion
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes quartered
  • Tortilla chips fritos or crackers, for serving

Instructions

  • Spread the whipped cream cheese evenly onto a small serving plate or shallow bowl, creating a smooth base layer.
  • Generously drizzle hot honey over the cream cheese.
  • Sprinkle the minced chipotle pepper evenly over the honey layer.
  • Spoon the jam over the top and gently spread it without mixing into the layers below.
  • Sprinkle chopped fresh cilantro over the jam.
  • Add the diced white or yellow onion, red onion, and sliced jalapeños.
  • Finish by topping with the quartered cherry tomatoes.
  • Serve immediately with tortilla chips or crackers.

Notes

For a milder dip, reduce the amount of chipotle and jalapeño.
Whipped cream cheese creates the smoothest, easiest-to-spread base, but softened regular cream cheese works as well.
Add toppings just before serving for the freshest texture and best presentation.
