  • 6 ounces deli turkey chopped
  • 6 ounces deli ham chopped
  • 4 ounces Genoa salami chopped
  • 4 ounces pepperoni chopped
  • 6 ounces mozzarella cheese chopped
  • 4 ounces provolone cheese chopped
  • 1/2 cup banana peppers chopped
  • 1/4 red onion finely diced

For the Dressing

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Finely chop the iceberg lettuce, turkey, ham, salami, pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, provolone cheese, banana peppers, and red onion into small bite-sized pieces.
  • Add all of the chopped ingredients to a large mixing bowl and gently toss together.
  • In a smaller bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour the dressing over the hoagie mixture and toss until everything is evenly coated.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate the Italian hoagie dip for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend together.
  • Serve chilled with toasted baguette slices, crostini, crackers, pita chips, kettle chips, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • Finely chopping the ingredients gives the dip the best texture and ensures every bite is packed with flavor.
  • This Italian hoagie dip is best served cold and fresh for maximum crunch.
  • If making ahead, store the dressing separately and mix everything together shortly before serving.
  • Add pepperoncini or crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy version.
  • This recipe can also be served as a low-carb sub in a tub meal with lettuce cups or fresh veggies.
