Equipment

  • 8 plastic champagne coupe glasses

Ingredients

  • 8 plastic champagne coupe glasses
  • 8 mini brie wheels
  • Edible black food marker
  • 8 silver star toothpicks
  • Salami slices
  • Disco ball toothpicks
  • Crackers sturdy varieties work best
  • Assorted chocolates
  • Fresh blackberries
  • Black velvet ribbon cut into small bows
  • Glue dots

Instructions

Decorate the glasses:

  • Attach a small black velvet bow to the base of each champagne coupe glass using a glue dot. Set aside.

Create the brie clocks:

  • Using an edible black food marker, draw a simple clock face directly onto each mini brie wheel. You can draw clock hands pointing to midnight or keep it minimal.

Add the star detail:

  • Insert a silver star toothpick into the top of each brie wheel to represent the New Year’s Eve countdown.

Assemble the cups:

  • Place one brie wheel slightly off-center in each champagne glass. Add folded or rolled salami secured with a disco ball toothpick.

Fill and finish:

  • Tuck crackers into the side of each cup, then fill in with assorted chocolates and fresh blackberries until the glass looks full but not overcrowded.

Chill and serve:

  • Refrigerate until ready to serve. Set out just before guests arrive or right before midnight

Notes

These charcuterie cups can be assembled up to 4–6 hours in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
Use sturdier crackers to prevent breakage inside the glass.
Avoid overfilling—leaving a little space keeps the cups looking elegant and prevents tipping.
Decorative bows should be added before food goes in for a cleaner finish.
