4slicesTexas toast or thick-cut bread
½cuppizza sauce
1½cupsshredded mozzarella cheese
20–24 mini pepperoni slices
½teaspoonItalian seasoning
¼teaspoongarlic powder
Crushed red pepper flakesoptional
Fresh basil or grated Parmesanfor garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Lightly toast the bread for 2–3 minutes.
Spread about 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce over each slice.
Top evenly with mozzarella cheese.
Add the pepperoni, then sprinkle with the Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
Bake for 6–8 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Broil for 1–2 minutes for a golden, bubbly top, if desired.

Storage:
Pizza toasts are best enjoyed warm and fresh, but if you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven or toaster oven to re-crisp. We recommend avoiding the microwave, as it'll make the bread soft.
