Ingredients

For the Taco Wreath

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls

For the Board & Toppings

  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1 bell pepper cut into a bow shape
  • cups guacamole
  • 1 small jalapeño thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons finely diced red onion

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease and stir in the taco seasoning according to package directions. Remove from heat and allow the meat to cool slightly.
  • Unroll the crescent rolls and separate into triangles. Arrange them in a circular wreath shape on the prepared baking sheet with the wide ends overlapping in the center and the pointed ends facing outward.
  • Spoon the taco meat evenly over the wide ends of the crescent dough. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the meat.
  • Fold the pointed ends of the crescent rolls over the filling and tuck them underneath to form a sealed wreath.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and fully cooked.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for 5–10 minutes before transferring to a serving board.
  • Spread shredded lettuce across the board, place the taco wreath on top, and decorate with cherry tomatoes and the bell pepper bow.
  • Scoop guacamole into the center of the wreath and top with sliced jalapeños and red onion. Serve immediately.

Notes

Let the taco meat cool slightly before assembling to prevent soggy crescent dough.
Avoid overfilling so the wreath bakes evenly and holds its shape.
Add toppings just before serving for the freshest look.
Serve with tortilla chips, sour cream, or salsa on the side if desired.
