For these Christmas tree brownies, you only need a handful of ingredients. It’s up to you if you’d like to use homemade brownies, a pre-packaged mix, or storebought brownies that are ready to go on the spot!

Ingredients

  • Pre-package brownie mix (homemade recipes or store-bought brownies also work!)
  • Green icing (you can also use vanilla frosting and just add green food coloring with a piping bag)
  • Candy canes or pretzel sticks for tree trunk and insert into the bottom of the tree
  • Festive holiday sprinkles

Optional: You could also use green melting chocolate and dip the brownies into the melted chocolate instead of icing or frosting!

Instructions

  • First, cook the brownies (if not using storebought) and let cool.
  • Cut the brownies horizontally into thirds or fourths. (This depends on the size or number of brownies you’d like to make.)
  • Then, cut triangle shapes from each section. You can use the extra scraps as mini trees or a tasty treat!
  • Using the frosting, pip a zigzag shape back and forth on the brownie triangle or dip into green melting chocolate.
  • Add sprinkles.
  • Break off small pieces of the candy cane for the trunk.
  • Enjoy your Christmas tree brownies!
