These fun Easter Chocolate Espresso Martinis are such a cute twist on a Spring cocktail! So much of Easter celebrations are geared towards kids, so it’s fun to make a special treat for us adults to enjoy, too!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 oz vodka
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur, such as Kahlua
  • 1 shot espresso
  • 1 hollow chocolate easter bunny or egg

Instructions

  1. Place your knife blade on a hot surface such as an oven burner or a small flame and heat the knife just slightly. You can also stick the knife in a cup of hot water.
  2. Carefully cut the top of the ears off (or the top of the egg) and discard.
  3. Next, combine vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso, and ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds until the shaker feels ice cold. (If you don’t have a cocktail shaker, stir vigorously in a tall glass.)
  4. Strain into a measuring glass with a pouring lip, then carefully pour into the chocolate bunny.
  5. Serve with whip cream, a colorful straw and any festive sprinkles you have.

Notes

If you’d prefer a non-alcoholic option or a fun treat for kids, try swapping the alcohol for:

  • Hot Chocolate
  • Chocolate Milk
  • Regular Milk
