Notes

Storage:
If you have leftover sliders, store them wrapped in foil or in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 days. To reheat, warm them in a 350° oven wrapped in foil to keep them from drying out. We also recommend removing any fresh toppings like shredded lettuce and pickles. Add them fresh when you're ready to serve again.
Prep these sliders ahead of time. Make and form the meat mixture in advance, then cover and store in the fridge until you're ready to cook. You can even fully assemble the sliders without the sauce and lettuce, bake, and then add your fresh toppings right before serving.
Tips:

Expert Tips

  • Get Rid of Excess Grease. Be sure to thoroughly blot the meat patties once they're cooked. Remove them from the baking sheet and let them drain on a paper towel lined plate so you don't end up with soggy buns and oily sliders.
  • Try Different Cheese. Use American cheese for a classic burger flavor and super melty texture. And try adding a layer of cheese beneath and on top of the meat patty for even more cheesiness.
  • Add Shredded Lettuce: Finely shred ice cold iceberg or romaine for an extra crisp, perfect texture.
  • Brush Buns With Butter: Brush the top of the pretzel buns with melted butter, then sprinkle on sesame seeds to really give the sliders that signature Big Mac presentation.
  • Add Sautéed Onions: While this topping might not be on a traditional Big Mac, they would definitely give these sliders extra delicious patty melt-style flavor.
