July 4th Berry Trifle

This light and delicious July 4th Berry Trifle is the easiest make ahead, no-bake dessert packed with fruity flavor that's perfect for serving a crowd for hassle-free summer entertaining. With just 5 minutes, you can have this dessert ready to pop into the fridge to chill up to overnight.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups whip cream or cool whip
  • 1 loaf pound cake cut into cubes
  • 2 cups strawberries chopped

Instructions

  • Chop the strawberries.
  • Cut the pound cake into 1-inch cubes.
  • To assemble the trifle, distribute the pound cake evenly between six individual serving glasses.
  • Sprinkle the strawberries over the top, then add the blueberries
  • Next, add a dollop of whipped cream.
  • Garnish with a fresh strawberry

Notes

Storage:
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container, or cover with plastic wrap, and keep in the fridge for 2-3 days. Serve chilled, straight from the fridge.
  • Prep the cake and berries ahead of time, and store separately in airtight containers, but we don't recommend assembling the trifle until right before serving for maximum freshness.
