Ingredients
For the Puff Pastry Bunnies
1box puff pastry sheetsthawed
1eggfor egg wash
For the Whipped Cream
1 ½cupsheavy whipping cream
½cuppowdered sugar
1teaspoonvanilla extract
For the Filling
6strawberriesthinly sliced
For the Topping
¼cuppowdered sugarsifted
Instructions
Prepare the Puff Pastry
Preheat oven to 400°F. Roll out thawed puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface and cut into bunny shapes using a cookie cutter or knife.
Apply Egg Wash
Whisk the egg and brush a light layer over each bunny to help them turn golden brown while baking.
Bake
Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until puffed and golden. Remove and let cool completely.
Make the Whipped Cream
In a large bowl, beat heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Do not overmix.
Prepare the Strawberries
Thinly slice the strawberries. Optional: lightly toss with a small sprinkle of sugar and let sit for 5–10 minutes to enhance their natural sweetness.
Assemble the Bunnies
Slice each bunny in half. On the bottom layer, Pipe or spoon whipped cream on top, then layer with sliced strawberries. Add top layer of bunny.
