Wake up to some delicious holiday magic and an overnight French toast casserole with Cinnamon Crunch Topping!

Ingredients

French Toast Casserole:

    • 1 loaf brioche (cubed)

    • 6 eggs

    • 2 cups half & half

    • 3 tbsp sugar

    • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

    • 1/2 tsp cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt

Cinnamon Crunch Topping:

    • 1 1/2 sticks butter

    • 1 cup brown sugar

    • 1 tbsp corn syrup

    • 1 tsp cinnamon

    • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

Instructions

    • Grease a 9×13 dish and arrange cubed brioche.

    • Whisk eggs, half & half, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Pour over bread and press down. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

    • For topping, melt butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a saucepan. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.

    • Preheat oven to 350°F. Pour topping over casserole and bake 45-50 minutes until golden and set.

    • Cool slightly, serve with syrup or powdered sugar. Enjoy!
