How to Make Crockpot Italian Sausage and Peppers
Summer vibes meet savory delights with this Crockpot Italian Sausage and Peppers recipe! 🌭🫑🌶️Whip up Italian Sausage & Peppers in your crockpot for an effortless, flavor-packed dinner. Just toss, set, and savor the taste of sunshine in every bite! ☀️🍴

Ingredients
- 1 pkg Italian sausages (5), uncooked
- 1 red pepper, sliced
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 1 large onion
- ½ tsp garlic salt
- ½ tap Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup marinara (Rao’s recommended)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½-3/4 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese

Directions
- Sear the Italian sausages 2-3 mins on each side until lightly brown. Lay sausages in crock-pot.
- Add onions and peppers on top of the sausages. Sprinkle garlic salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning over the top.
- Spread the marinara sauce over top Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-7 hours until the peppers are soft and sausage is cooked through.
- Optional- Spread everything in a broiler-safe pan and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Broil for a few minutes until cheese is melty and bubbly.
- Serve on bun with cheese or as is.

This smells so good as it gets cooking!

Perfect Presentation Platters
Crockpot: I used my favorite 6-quart crockpot from Walmart, which is at a great price! It also has a cute 2-quart option for smaller meals and an 8-quart option for larger meals.
Individual Serving Plates: I used the black-and-white checkered plates from MacKenzie Childs, which also come in a blue or pink version! For adorable and more affordable serving plates, I am obsessed with this beautiful coordinating set from Target for a great price!

Serving Platters: I get so much use out of this set of two white porcelain platters, which I absolutely love! You could also go with this faux white marble tray from Walmart that is also a great choice!
Kitchen Links: I get asked all the time about the products in the background of my kitchen. Much of it is from MacKenzie-Childs, which I have slowly grown a collection of over the years! My favorites are this checkered chopping board, my black and white checkered teapot, and the gray and white checkered utensil holder. I also have this enamel canister that you can find in small, medium, or large.
Can I Prep This Ahead of Time?
Yes! You can either start this 3-4 hours in advance (if cooking on high) or 7-9 hours in advance (if cooking on low.) That’s why I love crockpot recipes so much – they do all the work while you can go about your day!

Storing Leftover Italian Sausage and Peppers
Place any leftovers in a Tupperware container or Ziploc Bag and store in the refrigerator, where it should stay fresh for about 3 days.
