Easy Chex Mix Recipe for the Holidays

With Christmas around the corner, I am sharing with you a new and easy chex mix recipe for the holidays, Oh Fudge! ChexTM Mix that is perfect for everyone on your list! The Christmas season is the busiest time of year with shopping, wrapping gifts and all the holiday parties! I am always looking for holiday recipes that are not only yummy but are also quick and easy! This perfect no bake, under 15 minute recipe is totally delicious, addicting and will please everyone!

Wrap it up in small bags with a pretty Christmas bow and bring it to your neighbors, teachers, friends, or even have a fun take home gift for guests during the holidays!

Easy Chex Mix Recipe for the Holidays!

OhFudge! ChexTM Mix Recipe:

  • Prep Time: 25 Minutes
  • Start to Finish: 55 Minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups Rice ChexTM or Corn ChexTM cereal
  • 4 cups Chocolate ChexTM cereal
  • Semisweet chocolate chips – 1 cup
  • white vanilla baking chips – 1 cup
  • 1 package (6 oz) fudge-dipped original chocolate sandwich cookie thins bites (about 1 1/2 cups)
  • Milk chocolate-covered almonds – 1 cup
  • Milk chocolate candy drops, unwrapped – 1 cup

Instructions:

  1. First, line 2 large rimmed baking pans with waxed paper. Spread Rice ChexTM or Corn ChexTM cereal in one pan AND Chocolate ChexTM cereal in remaining pan.
  2. In small microwavable bowl, microwave semisweet chocolate chips uncovered on High 45 seconds; stir. If necessary, continue microwaving in 15-second increments until melted and smooth.
  3. Then, transfer the melted chocolate to small resealable food-storage plastic bag; cut corner off one end of bag, and drizzle onto Rice ChexTM or Corn ChexTM cereal.
  4. Next, in another small microwavable bowl, microwave white vanilla baking chips uncovered on High 30 seconds, stir. Continue microwaving in 15-second increments until melted and smooth.
  5. After, transfer the mixture into small resealable food-storage plastic bag; cut corner off one end of bag, and drizzle onto Chocolate ChexTM cereal.
  6. Next, refrigerate both cereals about 30 minutes or until drizzle is set. Separate both cereals into bite-size pieces.Lastly, in large serving bowl, mix cereals, cookies, almonds and chocolate candies. Store at room temperature in covered container.

Notes

Add a peppermint twist to your mix by stirring in 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candy
Want more chocolate? Add 1/2 cup chocolate chunks to your mix
