Streusel Topping:
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (cold)
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar

- pinch of salt
For additional toppings, you could also add powdered sugar, maple syrup, whipped cream, or sprinkles to your French Toast Muffins!

Perfect Presentation Platters
These French Toast Muffins are super cute on their own, and here are some of my favorite dishes that I use all the time:
Easter Serving Dishes: You can’t go wrong with these bunny plates or these from Target. I also love this Easter Egg Stoneware platter as well! If you’re looking for a wooden bunny-shaped serving board, I love this wooden bunny serving platter from TJ Maxx or this cute option from Target.
Tip: For extra festive decorations around the serving platter, I love winding twinkle lights or a garland like this carrot garland or this Easter Egg garland for some added character.
Wooden Serving Boards: I use wooden boards just about every day in my kitchen, from decor to cutting boards to serving platters! The checkered board is from this recipe MacKenzie Childs, which you can find here. Some other favorites are this version from Pottery Barn, this option from Kirklands, or this raised trivet from Target. I also love this set of 3 from Antique Farmhouse. I also use this circular wooden serving board all the time from Target that I’d highly recommend.
White Platters: I made this dish around Easter which is why I used the bunny plate, but if you’d looking for a pretty white or marble plate that you can use year-round, this white marble pastry board from World Market is beautiful. For a less expensive option, this faux white marble tray from Walmart is also a great choice!
Cute Trays and Cake Stands: These French Toast Muffins would also be cute on a tray or cake stand! For a wooden, classic look, this cake stand from Antique Farmhouse is so dreamy, as well as this glass-covered metal and wood stand from Target. . I also love this circular gold tray from Walmart, this octagonal bronze tray from Target, this round gold hammered tray from World Market, or this faux marble white tray from Walmart.
Can I Make These Ahead of Time?
Since the prep on these is so quick (10 minutes total), I’d recommend making these the same day that you plan on serving so the bread doesn’t get too soggy. However, they should last 3-5 days once cooked, so you could always reheat them if you need to make in advance.
Storing Leftover French Toast Muffins
Store these in a Tupperware container or cover with Saran Wrap. You can store at room temperature or in the fridge, where they should stay fresh for about 3-5 days.
Enjoy!
I hope these French Toast Muffins were a fun twist on breakfasts! I will definitely be making these again very soon. 🙂 Have a wonderful week, friends!
