How to Make Perfect Popcorn Puppy Chow
We made this sweet and salty Popcorn Puppy Chow for Easter and couldn’t love it more! (Popcorn is a nice twist over Chex Mis for this treat, in our opinion!) We tossed in some Easter candies for a festive twist, but this is the perfect snack any time of year. 🐣🍫

You can either box it up as an adorable gift or snack straight from the bowl! 🙂

Ingredients
No cereal needed—just popcorn, chocolate, peanut butter, and a lot of powdered sugar.
- 10 cups popped popcorn (about 1/2 cup kernels or 2–3 bags microwave popcorn, plain or lightly salted)
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ½–2 cups powdered sugar
- Optional Add-ins: Egg candies, Mini marshmallows, pretzels, crushed cookies, mini M&Ms, or sprinkles

Directions
- Pour the popcorn in a large bowl.
- Melt the chocolate and butter together in 15-second intervals in the microwave in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Add peanut butter to the chocolate and butter mixture and stir.
- Pour the chocolate, butter, and peanut butter mixture over the popcorn and mix together.
- Sprinkle generously with powdered sugar.
- Optional: Add seasonal candies or sprinkles. Enjoy!

Yes! You can make this Popcorn Puppy Chow up to about4 days in advance. Just store in a Ziploc container or Tupperware container so it stays fresh.

Storing Leftover Popcorn Puppy Chow
If you have any leftovers, transfer to a Tupperware container or Ziploc bag and store at room temperature, where it should stay fresh for several days.
