It is starting to look a lot like Christmas!! I have been decking the halls for what feels like weeks and I am only just getting started! Today I finished adding the finishing touches in the kitchen and I just LOVE all the pops of red!!
I love shopping at Walmart for all of the things and this year I was blown away by not only the Christmas decor, but also the festive kitchen essentials. I rounded up all my favorites below!
Christmas Kitchen Decor
Festive Dinnerware and Cookware
Did you ever think to add Christmas Cheer to your kitchen with festive dinnerware and cookware? I love to decorate with the traditional Christmas colors, red and green and this year I found this gorgeous red Dutch Oven from Walmart to add more color my stove. Not only does it add a festive touch to any kitchen it also will get used all season long! In my house however, it may be used more for decor ?.
But really.. if you love to cook this red Dutch Oven is the perfect addition to your kitchen this holiday season. I can’t wait to make my favorite chili recipe in it this weekend!
The set of 4 black and white bowls linked HERE are pretty to display in glass cabinets or open shelving. I love the modern black and white pattern that goes so perfectly with the rest of the black and white touches in my kitchen.
Ribbon
Another easy way to add more holly jolly to your kitchen is by adding ribbon. I love to use ribbon to add more pops of red. I tied a simple red bow around a faux cedar green wreath. You can find so many different styles of ribbon at Walmart. They always have the best selection in the holiday sections.
I also used a velvet red ribbon to hang a small wreath from my window. The red really stands out against the white cabinets!
Wreaths and Garland
Wreaths and garland are a given when looking to decorate any space for Christmas. You can add a wreaths to your range hood, kitchen cabinet doors and windows. To add wreaths to windows you can use these suction cups or you can also use command hooks.
Garland is also a great idea for not only more green but to also add texture. I added a garland above my sink using command hooks and then added a strand of twinkle lights on top. The more twinkle…. the better!!
Kitchen Shelving
Kitchen shelving is another fun way to add a festive touch. Display Christmas mugs, holiday dinnerware and more!
We spend so much time in the kitchen during the holidays, we might as well make it festive… don’t you agree??
Below I rounded up my favorite Walmart Home Christmas decor items this year. There are so many fun and festive goodies for the holiday season!
