How to Make Patriotic Wine Slushies
These Patriotic Wine Slushies are so festive and easy to make with just a few simple ingredients! They come together in minutes and are a fun addition to any Fourth of July or Memorial Day gathering.
Ingredients
Here’s all you need to replicate this at home:
- 2.5 cups White Wine, divided (You can use Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Chardonay, or any other wine preference!)
- 2.5 cups frozen blueberries
- 2.5 cups frozen strawberries or raspberries
- 2.5 cups ice
Supplies Needed: Blender, glasses for serving
Directions
- Red Layer: Combine the raspberries or strawberries with about 3/4 cup wine. Blend and pour evenly into 3 glasses.
- White Layer: Give the blender a quick rinse, then add 3/4 cup ice and white wine. Blend until smooth and slowly pour on top of the red layer in each glass.
- Blue Layer: Add the frozen blueberries and remaining wine to the blender and mix until smooth. Carefully distribute over the white layer in each glass.
- Store the slushies in the freezer until close to serving time! They will need about 5-10 minutes at room temperature to thaw.

Perfect Presentation Platters
Here are some cute platters and patriotic accents for your Fourth of July or Memorial Day get-togethers!
Headband: You can find my Patriotic Headband here for a steal!
Glasses: I used these glasses with bamboo lids and glass straws from Amazon, which are $20 for a set of four!
Patriotic Platters: I love putting these Patriotic Wine Slushies on a festive serving platter. I used this star platter from Kirklands and I also love this fireworks platter from Target. If you’d prefer an option that you can use year-round, this gold circular tray from Walmart would also be beautiful!
I also love these adorable star napkins!
Patriotic Decorations: I got my framed mini American Flag from Michaels. You could also decorate with this patriotic banner, this star garland from Walmart, this red, white, and blue pom pom garland, or these patriotic tabletop balls (that I put in my cake stand!) This burlap wreath is also beautiful!
Festive Lights: For an extra festive touch, surround your serving dish with these patriotic lights, these star twinkle lights or these American flag lights!
Kitchen Links: I get asked all the time about the products in the background of my kitchen. Much of it is from MacKenzie-Childs, which I have slowly grown a collection of over the years! My favorites are this checkered chopping board, my black and white checkered teapot, and the gray and white checkered utensil holder. I also have this enamel canister that you can find in small, medium, or large.
Can I Make These Patriotic Wine Slushies Ahead of Time?
Yes! They will need at least 30 minutes in the freezer to remain frozen and maintain their layers without melting together. I’d recommend making these within 24 hours of serving time so they stay fresh.
Storing Leftovers
If you have any Patriotic Wine Slushies leftover, you can store them in the freezer for about one day. Since they are so quick to prepare, I’d recommend discarding and making a fresh batch if you don’t plan on consuming them within one day.
Disclaimer: Please ensure to store out of reach from unsuspecting littles! 🙂
Cheers!
I hope these fun cocktails help to spice up your patriotic gatherings! Thanks for spending a bit of your day with me and I hope you have a fantastic week!
Xoxo,
Leanna
