Veggies, fruits, and bagels on a tray

Directions

There’s no right or wrong way to put together a snack board, but here are some tips that make it as stress-free as possible!

  1. Start with placing the bagels down the center of a large serving tray.
  2. Put the cream cheese in small glass bowls and place on the tray.
  3. Fill in as desired with fruits, veggies, and other snacks. I like to start with the largest items (such as a bushel of grapes,) then fill in with the smallest items last.

Perfect Presentation Platters

You could put this Bagel Board on just about anything! Here are some of my favorites:

Round Trays: I used this round wooden Target tray, which I get so much use out of year-round! For a higher-end round tray, I love my MacKenzie-Childs checkered party tray. If you’d prefer some glitz, you could also go with this Gold Metal Party Tray from Walmart at a great price!

Small Bowls: To hold the cream cheese, dipping sauces, or smaller snacks, you could use these adorable bowls from Target!

Rectangular Trays: If you’d like a rectangular wooden tray, this wooden version from Target is great, as well as this beautiful choice from Etsy.

Kitchen Links: I get asked all the time about the products in the background of my kitchen. Much of it is from MacKenzie-Childs, which I have slowly grown a collection of over the years! My favorites are this checkered chopping board, my black and white checkered teapot, and the gray and white checkered utensil holder. I also have this enamel canister that you can find in smallmedium, or large.

Can I Prep This Bagel Board Ahead of Time?

Absolutely! You can wash, slice, and prep all of the fruits and veggies ahead of time for easy assembly. Or, you can prep the entire board a few hours in advance, cover with Saran Wrap, and store in the refrigerator.

Storing Leftovers

I like to store left over Bagels in a Ziploc Bag to stay fresh. I also keep the plastic containers to put the fruit and veggies back in, or Tupper War containers. Be sure to refrigerate all fruit and cream cheese spreads.
