Perfect Presentation Platters

With the right staples, even hot dogs can look Pinterest-worthy and festive! Here are some of my favorite platters that I get so much use out of:

Round Trays: I used this round wooden Target tray, which I get so much use out of year-round! For a higher-end round tray, I love my MacKenzie-Childs checkered party tray. If you’d prefer some glitz, you could also go with this Gold Metal Party Tray from Walmart at a great price! This red and white star platter would also be so festive for Memorial Day or Fourth of July!

Rectangular Trays: If you’d like a rectangular wooden tray, this wooden version from Target is great, as well as this beautiful choice from Etsy. I also love this beautiful MacKenzie Childs baguette tray!

Star Dish: For a star dish similar to mine, I love this red star version from Michaels! (Just be sure to check the dimensions to ensure they don’t overpower your serving board.)

Small Bowls: To hold the ketchup, mustard, and relish toppings, you could use these adorable bowls from Target!

Serving Plates: Target has these adorable blue gingham plates, which also coordinate perfectly with these blue plaid plates. They would also look so cute with these woven chargers!

Kitchen Links: I get asked all the time about the products in the background of my kitchen. Much of it is from MacKenzie-Childs, which I have slowly grown a collection of over the years! My favorites are this checkered chopping board, my black and white checkered teapot, and the gray and white checkered utensil holder. I also have this enamel canister that you can find in smallmedium, or large.

Tip: For an extra festive touch, surround your serving dish with star twinkle lights or American flag lights!

Can I Prep This Hot Dog Board Ahead of Time?

Yes! You can have the pickles, coleslaw, toppings, and chips plated on your hot dog board and stored in the refrigerator a few hours ahead of time. Just add the hot dogs close to serving time so they are nice and warm!

Storing Leftovers

For the chips, I like to hold onto the chip bag so I can just put any extras there. I also store the hot dogs in either a large Ziploc bag or Tupperware container. I’d also recommend keeping the pickle jar for leftover pickles!
