How to Make an Amazing Sugar Cookie Martini
This sugar cookie martini is such a fun holiday cocktail! It’s also so easy to decorate the rims of glasses with sprinkles to wow your guests.

Ingredients and Supplies Needed
The ingredients below prepare one martini. Using a martini shaker works best to mix the cocktails, but don’t worry if you don’t have one! You can put the ingredients in a pitcher and stir vigorously.
Ingredients for Sugar Cookie Martini:
- 1.5 oz Bailey’s Irish Cream
- 1.5 oz vanilla vodka
- .75 oz amaretto
- 3 tablespoons milk or Half and Half
- 1 teaspoon powdered sugar (also called confectioner’s sugar)
- 1 cup of ice
Ingredients for Rim Decorations:
- White frosting or white melting chocolate
- Sprinkles or edible glitter. A little goes a long way with this edible glitter!
- Drink toppers. Did you know you can use cupcake toppers in a glass? These silver and gold ones are so fun!

Decorating the Glasses
- Place white frosting and sprinkles on separate plates.
- Dip the rim of the glass in the white frosting, then the sprinkles.
- If using white melting chocolate, melt the chocolates in the microwave at 15-second intervals. Once melted, dip the rim in the chocolate, followed by the sprinkles.

Directions for Martini
- Add all of the ingredients in a martini shaker and shake vigorously.
- Once chilled, pour into the prepared martini glass.

Substitutions
You can definitely make a non-alcoholic version for your guests or kids to enjoy! Leave out the Bailey’s, Vodka, and Amaretto and instead use:
- 1/2 cup milk or half and half.
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon powdered sugar (also called confectioners’ sugar.)
- 1 cup ice
Shake or stir vigorously and pour into a prepared glass.

Perfect Presentation Platters
Glasses: I used this four-pack of glasses for Target and love how they are a bit rounded and unique. These gold-rimmed set of four from World Market are also beautiful! Macy’s also has a classic set of four or this fun set with different yet coordinating designs. For a higher-end look, this crystal set of two from Lord and Taylor could also make a nice gift.
Trays: You can also present your cocktails on a pretty tray! I love this Christmas tray from the Pioneer Woman, which could hold several glasses. For New Year’s Eve, this gold hammered serving tray is gorgeous and could be used for many other occasions.
Marble trays are also so timeless and classic. This gold-rimmed marble tray from World Market is lovely, as well as this similar look from JC Penney.
Can I Make This Ahead of Time?
This sugar cookie martini is best prepared when you are ready to serve so it’s nice and cold! However, you can definitely prepare the glasses two-three days ahead of time.

Storing Leftovers
Since only one serving at a time is made with this sugar cookie martini, you won’t have to worry about many leftovers. However, just be sure to cover with saran wrap and store in the refrigerator if you do.
Cheers!
