How to Make the Cutest DIY Teacher Gift!
This DIY Teacher Gift perfect way to kick off the school year, Teacher Appreciation Week, or a special gift just because to show teachers some love! ✏️🍎 It’s adorable and can be filled with whatever you’d like.
I used a plastic pizza slice container from Target and turned it into a pencil-themed gift box using hand-cut vinyl. Then I filled it with classroom must-haves—erasers, sticky notes, pens, and a gift card tucked into a tag holder from Walmart. I finished my DIY Teacher Gift off with a ribbon and a sweet little card.

Supplies for DIY Teacher Gift
I linked everything I used here as a one-stop shop, as well as many items in my Amazon Storefront, including:
- Yellow, black, pink, and silver peel-and-stick vinyl. Tip: If you don’t have vinyl, you can always glue on construction paper!
- Plastic Pizza Slice Containers in a 5-pack or a 2-pack
- Teacher Badge Holders (also great for holding gift cards!) Either in this Notebook border option or Composition Book option
- Lanyard for Badges in a Beaded Lanyard or Composition Book style
- Pencil-themed gift card holder
- Ribbon: Ruler-themed or Pencil-themed
- Pencil-themed Erasers
- Apple-Shaped Post-Its
- Set of 24 Sharpies
- Composition Book Zipper Pouch
- Pencil Gift Tag

Instructions
- Trace the plastic pizza container on the peel-and-stick yellow vinyl.. Cut out the vinyl and stick to the container.
- Add the pink eraser, black pencil lead, and silver bracket vinyl details.
- Fill the pizza container with tissue paper and add goodies.
- Optional (but cute!) Tie with a school-themed ribbon. We like to layer 2-3 ribbons!
