How to Make Beautiful Apple Pastry Roses
These apple pastry roses are perfect for Mother’s Day or any spring get-together! You only need a handful of ingredients to create this showstopper. Who knew something so pretty would be so easy to make?

Whether you’re hosting or gifting, these are guaranteed to impress! 💐

Ingredients
I used @Stemiltfruit Pink Lady apples—their crisp texture and sweet-tart flavor make them ideal for baking, and they hold their shape beautifully.
- 2 red apples (Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Pink Lady are preferred!)
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1–2 tbsp granulated sugar (optional)
- ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
- Powdered sugar, for dusting

Directions
- Slice apples thin, microwave with lemon juice + water for 2–3 mins until soft.
- Roll out puff pastry, cut into 6 strips.
- Sprinkle sugar/cinnamon if using.
- Line apple slices along top edge, fold bottom over, and roll into roses.
- Place in greased muffin tin.
- Bake at 375°F for 35–40 mins until golden.
- Cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar.

Perfect Presentation Platters
These little cuties look beautiful on just about anything! We linked a ton of goodies in our Amazon Storefront, plus here are some of our other favorites:
Cake Stands: There is something so charming about a wooden cake stand with a glass lid, like this one from Amazon! I love this beautiful, checkered cake-stand from MacKenzie-Childs! For a more budget-friendly option, you can’t go wrong with this wooden stand from Walmart. I also love this marble and acacia cake stand!
Food Boards: You could use this wooden food board from Walmart for so many things! I also love this acacia version that’s under $15 for a smaller set up, as well as this checkered board from Temu for a great price! Antique Hardware has this set of 3 that I get so much use out of.
White Serving Platters: I use this marble tray from Walmart all the time, for an amazing price!! For another all-white option, this white marble pastry board from World Market is my favorite!

Kitchen Links: I get asked all the time about the products in the background of my kitchen. Much of it is from MacKenzie-Childs, which I have slowly grown a collection of over the years! My favorites are this checkered chopping board, my black and white checkered teapot, and the gray and white checkered utensil holder. I also have this enamel canister that you can find in small, medium, or large.
Can I Prep These in Advance?
Yes, you can wash and slice the apples in advance and also cook them ahead of time if you’d like to serve cold. However, we’d recommend serving these Apple Pastry Roses right after baking so they are nice and warm and the apple slices don’t start turning brown.

Storing Leftover Apple Pastry Roses
If you have any leftovers, transfer them to a Ziploc Bag or Tupperware container and store in the refrigerator, where they should stay fresh for 2-3 days. They are delicious to eat either hot or cold!
