How To Make Strawberry Shortcake Dip
1. Beat cream cheese until smooth.

Expert Tips
- Soften the Cream Cheese: Using room temperature, softened cream cheese will make it easier to work with and beat well for a smooth, lump-free consistency.
- Use An Electric Mixer: For the lightest, fluffiest, and quickest whipped cream.
- Gently Fold In Whipped Cream: Resist the urge to thoroughly mix in the whipped cream. Gently and delicately folding it in will give the dip a light, airy texture
- Let Dip Chill: Once everything is mixed, let the dip set up and chill in the fridge for 20 minutes for the best texture and so the flavors can meld.
- Add Mix-Ins: For extra flavor and crunch, add in freeze dried strawberries, white chocolate chips, crushed graham crackers, chopped nuts, or even a drizzle of strawberry jam.
- Get Creative With Dippers: Nilla wafers, shortbread cookies, animal crackers, salty pretzels, wafer cookies, or pound cake bites would all be delicious.
Perfect Presentation Platters
This Strawberry Shortcake Dip can be spread out on a platter, or served in a bowl. Here are some of my favorites!
Serving Platters: I used one of this set of two white porcelain platters, which I absolutely love! You could also go with this faux white marble tray from Walmart is also a great choice!
Kitchen Links: I get asked all the time about the products in the background of my kitchen. Much of it is from MacKenzie-Childs, which I have slowly grown a collection of over the years! My favorites are this checkered chopping board, my black and white checkered teapot, and the gray and white checkered utensil holder. I also have this enamel canister that you can find in small, medium, or large.

Storage
If you have leftover dip, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. When you’re ready to serve again, give it a good stir to refresh, as the ingredients can sometimes separate slightly.
You can freeze this dip if you’re in a pinch, but the texture can turn grainy, so we really recommend eating it right after assembling, or within a few days of storing it in the fridge.

FAQs
Yes. Just be sure to completely thaw and drain them of any excess moisture to avoid a soggy, diluted dip.
The options are endless! Shortbread cookies, vanilla wafers, wafer cookies, pretzels, animal crackers, pound cake bites or fresh fruit would all be great dippers.
If your berries haven’t been properly drained of excess moisture before adding in, the dip can become slightly watery. To avoid this, make sure the berries are drained or patted dry, use full fat cream cheese, and let the dip chill to set up before serving.
