Perfect Presentation Platters
You can set up this cute dessert station on just about anything! Here are some of my favorites:
Food Boards: You could use this wooden food board from Walmart for so many things! I also love this acacia version that’s under $15 for a smaller set up! If you’d like to do a larger board, I use this round wooden tray from Target all the time! I also love this checkered board from Temu for a great price!
Dessert Cups: Target has an adorable set-of-four glass containers that are so handy year-round! Amazon also has this beautiful set of rose-colored dessert dishes for a great price! You also can’t go wrong with classic Mason Jars!
Kitchen Links: I get asked all the time about the products in the background of my kitchen. Much of it is from MacKenzie-Childs, which I have slowly grown a collection of over the years! My favorites are this checkered chopping board, my black and white checkered teapot, and the gray and white checkered utensil holder. I also have this enamel canister that you can find in small, medium, or large.
Can I Prep This Walking Strawberry Shortcake Bar in Advance?
Yes! Just put the Cool Whip, Strawberry Filling, and sliced strawberries in Mason Jars and refrigerate. Since this treat is so fast and you can also prep it in less than 10 minutes, you can also whip it up right before serving time.
Storing Leftovers
That’s the fun part about any “walking” boards – any leftover muffins can just stay sealed (which are also great kid snacks!) If you have any open bags with muffins, put them in a Ziploc Bag and store at room temp. Keep the leftover filling, Cool Whip, and Strawberries in the refrigerator, where they should stay fresh for several days.
Enjoy!
