Perfect Presentation Platters

These Mummy Waffle Sticks look adorable on just about anything! I also like to scatter extra googly eyes around the plate for a fun effect. Here are some of my favorites!

Halloween Serving Platters: For some other fun Halloween serving boards, you may love this cute Jack-O’-Lantern platter or this Stoneware Ghost Platter (both from Pottery Barn), as well as this Marble Ghost Cheese Board (for a smaller version) from World Market. I also use this spooky coffin-shaped platter and wooden pumpkin cheese board all the time!

Halloween Kitchen Links: You can find my favorite Haunted House Cookie Jar at Pottery Barn! I also love these elegant MacKenzie-Childs Striped Pumpkins set or her Boo Pumpkins Set, which is a bit less expensive.

Wooden Serving Board: I used this Acacia Serving Board, which is so handy year-round.  I also love this large wooden platter from Target that is so cute, especially the handy double handles. If you’re looking to add to a collection, Antique Hardware has this set of 3 that I get so much use out of. I also use this rectangular tray all the time. (Both at a great price!)

Round Trays: If you prefer a round tray, I’d recommend this round wooden Target tray, which I get so much use out of year-round! For a higher-end round tray, I love my MacKenzie-Childs checkered party tray.

Can I Prep These in Advance?

Yes you can, but I’d recommend serving these fresh and warm out of the waffle maker. If you do need to make the waffles ahead of time, reheat in the microwave before adding the melting chocolate. (Reheating after the melting chocolate has been added may make more of a melted snowman rather than a mummy!)

Storing Leftovers

You can cover these with Saran Wrap or Aluminum foil and keep at room temperature to enjoy for the rest of the day. For storing overnight, I’d recommend refrigerating in a Tupperware container or Ziploc Bag. These should stay fresh for 2-3 days and are just as tasty cold!
