Do You Dare Make This Scary Halloween Charcuterie Board?
Unleash your inner ghoul with this terrifyingly delicious Halloween Charcuterie Board! (Or should we say “Scare-cuterie board!) 🧀👻
Featuring a creepy hand crafted from goat cheese, prosciutto, and tomato slice ‘fingernails,’ it’s the perfect blend of spooky and savory for your Halloween festivities. 💀
Ingredients
- One 4 oz package of Panino Prosciutto (Mozzarella Cheese wrapped in Prosciutto.) You could also wrap Prosciutto around cheese sticks.
- One 8 oz package of Goat Cheese (I used Roth Chèvre goat cheese)
- One 4 oz package of Garlic & Herb Goat Cheese (you can also use regular)
- 4-5 strips of Prosciutto (to wrap around the goat cheese sections)
- 1 tomato (to slice “fingernails”)
- Crackers, fruit, olives, or nuts for dipping
Directions
- Optional (but helpful!) Trace hand on parchment paper or wax paper for accurate proportions and sizing.
- Place on Panino Prosciutto “fingers” (you can trim the sizes for appropriate finger length.)
- Place larger goat cheese “wrist/forearm.”
- Place on smaller goat cheese “hand” above wrist/forearm and below “fingers.”
- Carefully remove the parchment/wax paper.
- Wrap Prosciutto around the two goat cheese sections.
- Trim “fingernails” from one tomato. Add on top of fingers.
- Serve with favorite crackers or dippers and enjoy!
Tip: For an extra creepy touch, you can place a cheese knife in the Prosciutto hand. 🙂

Perfect Presentation Platters
This Creepy Charcuterie Hand looks great on just about anything. Here are some of my favorites!
Halloween Serving Platters: For some other fun Halloween serving boards, you may love this cute Jack-O’-Lantern platter or this Stoneware Ghost Platter (both from Pottery Barn), as well as this Marble Ghost Cheese Board (for a smaller version) from World Market. I also use this spooky coffin-shaped platter and wooden pumpkin cheese board all the time!
Wooden Serving Board: I used this large wooden platter from Target that is so cute, especially the handy double handles. If you’re looking to add to a collection, Antique Hardware has this set of 3 that I get so much use out of. I also use this rectangular tray all the time. (Both at a great price!)
Round Trays: If you prefer a round tray, I’d recommend this round wooden Target tray, which I get so much use out of year-round! For a higher-end round tray, I love my MacKenzie-Childs checkered party tray.
Halloween Kitchen Links: You can find that beautiful Haunted House Cookie Jar at Pottery Barn! I also love those elegant MacKenzie-Childs Striped Pumpkins set or her Boo Pumpkins Set, which is a bit less expensive.
Can I Prep This Halloween Charcuterie Board in Advance?
Yes! You can prep this 1-2 days in advance; just cover tightly with Saran Wrap and refrigerate so the Prosciutto doesn’t try out. You can also just assemble the cheese portions and wait to apply the Prosciutto and tomato fingernails.
Storing Leftovers
If you have any leftovers from your Halloween Charcuterie Board, place it in a Ziploc Bag and refrigerate, where it should stay fresh for 2-3 days. (Btw how creepy would it be to find in your refrigerator the next day!)
Enjoy!
I hope this Halloween Charcuterie Board is a “scream” this Halloween! For more scary recipes, I hope you also love our Spooky Skull Cheese Ball, fun and festive Halloween Cheese Board, and adorable Puff Pastry Spider Snack. Happy Halloween, friends!
