Perfect Presentation Platters

Rectangular Trays: If you’d like a rectangular wooden tray, this wooden version from Target is great, as well as this beautiful choice from Etsy. Amazon also has another great option with handles here! Walmart has a beautiful smaller version with handles!

Round Trays: If you’d prefer a round tray, I’d recommend this round wooden Target tray, which I get so much use out of year-round! For a higher-end round tray, I love my MacKenzie-Childs checkered party tray. If you’d prefer some glitz, you could also go with this Gold Metal Party Tray from Walmart at a great price!

Individual Pumpkin Bowls: Pottery Barn has individual white pumpkin bowls with lids for $15 each, as part of a whole collection. Walmart also has this orange ceramic set of two! Finally, Target has individual pumpkin bowls that match the larger serving bowl.

Glass Containers: Target has an adorable set-of-four glass containers that you can get so much use out of! Amazon also has this beautiful set of rose-colored dessert dishes for a great price!

Halloween Kitchen Links: You can find my favorite Haunted House Cookie Jar at Pottery Barn! I also love these elegant MacKenzie-Childs Striped Pumpkins set or her Boo Pumpkins Set, which is a bit less expensive. I’m also obsessed with the Cauldron with Witch Boots!

Can I Prep This Child Board in Advance?

Absolutely! You can wash and cut the fresh veggies and prepare the chili ahead of time, especially if you use our Crockpot Chili recipe! You can also make cornbread in advance or use seasonal cookie cutters to cut it into fun shapes.

Storing Leftovers

Return any dry ingredients (such as crackers, chips, or cornbread) back to their original containers or place in a Ziploc bag and store at room temp. Store any fresh ingredients (such as the chili, veggies, or cheese) in a Tupperware container or a Ziploc Bag and keep refrigerated.
