How to Make the Best BLT & Bourbon Board!
As the weather gets warmer, this BLT & Bourbon Board is an easy and delicious option for backyard gatherings, Father’s Day, graduation parties, and so much more!

These are Simon’s two favorite things so I decided to create an easy lunch idea with them!
Ingredients
There are so many different toppings to add to a BLT but some of our favorites are:
- bacon or turkey bacon
- lettuce
- tomatoes
- avocado
- egg
- beets
- red onion
- pickles
- cheddar cheese
- turkey
- bread
- Sauces such as mayo, mustard, ketchup, barbecue sauce, etc.
- Optional: Bourbon

Directions
When making this BLT & Bourbon Board, make sure you add the hot items last and serve near a toaster to toast the bread before making!
- Toast preferred bread and arrange around the base of the serving board.
- Fill in the board with the larger items first (such as bacon), followed by the smaller items (such as red onion.)
- Enjoy!

Perfect Presentation Platters
Round Trays: I used this round wooden Target tray, which I get so much use out of year-round! I also love this White Reclaimed Wood Pizza Board and this Lazy Susan version that is so convenient. For a higher-end round tray, I love my MacKenzie-Childs checkered party tray.
Rectangular Trays: If you’d like a rectangular wooden tray, this wooden version from Target is great, as well as this beautiful choice from Etsy.
Kitchen Links: I get asked all the time about the products in the background of my kitchen. Much of it is from MacKenzie-Childs, which I have slowly grown a collection of over the years! My favorites are this checkered chopping board that I used for this recipe, my black and white checkered teapot, and the gray and white checkered utensil holder. I also have this enamel canister that you can find in small, medium, or large.

Can I Prep This BLT & Bourbon Ahead of Time?
Yes! You can wash and slice the vegetables and cook bacon or turkey bacon 1-2 days in advance. Wait to toast the bread until right before serving time. 🙂

Storing Leftovers
Store any veggies, cheese, or meat in Ziploc Bags/Tupperware containers and store in the fridge, where it should stay fresh for several days. Keep any leftover bread in a Ziploc bag and store at room temperature.
Enjoy!
I love how this BLT & Bourbon Board looks amazing but comes together in no time! For more easy and tasty food board, you may also love this “Waffle-wich” Board, Bic Mac Pretzel Sliders, or this BLT Chicken Salad. Thanks for visiting this little corner of the internet, friends!
