  • 6 oz cream cheese

Directions

  1. Place the dry brownie mixture in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 1 minute and 15 seconds, stirring after each 15-second interval (this is called “heat-treating,” so the flour is safe to consume without being baked.)
  2. In a medium-sized or large bowl, beat together the cream cheese and butter until soft, then mix in the Cool Whip.
  3. Add the dry Brownie mix to the cream cheese, butter, and Cool Whip mixture and beat until smooth. Add the milk one tablespoon at a time, mixing between each tablespoon.
  4. Stir in the added mix-ins and top with sprinkles if desired.
  5. Serve with favorite dippers and enjoy!

Perfect Presentation Platters

Serving Platters: If you’d like a Patriotic serving tray, I used this Star Platter from Kirklands that’s so pretty! I also love this firecracker platter from Target if you need a festive a paper option!

If you’d prefer a year-round option, you could go with set of two white porcelain platters, which I use all the time! I’d also recommend this large white porcelain platter or this faux white marble tray from Walmart that is also a great choice!

Star Dish: For a star dish similar to mine, I love this red star version from Michaels or this red and white version from Kirklands! (Just be sure to check the dimensions to ensure they don’t overpower your serving board.) Also, how cute are these star paper napkins?

Small Serving Plates: If you’d like Patriotic serving platters, these star paper plates or striped paper plates from Target are adorable! For plates you can use all summer long, Target has these adorable blue gingham plates, which also coordinate perfectly with these blue plaid plates.

Festive Lights: For an extra festive touch, surround your serving dish with these patriotic lights, these star twinkle lights or these American flag lights!

Patriotic Decorations: I love this framed mini American Flag from Michaels that I lean against my backsplash! You could also decorate with this patriotic banner, this star garland from Walmart, this red, white, and blue pom pom garland, or these patriotic tabletop balls (that I put in my cake stand!) This burlap wreath is also beautiful!

Kitchen Links: I get asked all the time about the products in the background of my kitchen. Much of it is from MacKenzie-Childs, which I have slowly grown a collection of over the years! My favorites are this checkered chopping board, my black and white checkered teapot, and the gray and white checkered utensil holder. I also have this enamel canister that you can find in smallmedium, or large.

Can I Make This Ahead of Time?

Absolutely! Just cover the Brownie Batter Dip tightly with Saran Wrap or place in Tupperware and keep in the refrigerator, where it should keep extra fresh for serving for 1-2 days ahead of time. Just add the sprinkles right when you’re ready to serve so they don’t dissolve.

Storing Leftover Brownie Batter Dip

Be sure to store any leftovers in the refrigerator, which you can do by covering with Saran Wrap or transferring to a Tupperware container. This should stay fresh and delicious for several days!
