My kids LOVE bananas!!! It is the one fruit I can always count of them to eat. This summer we have tried lots of new recipes to use bananas and this one might be my favorite one yet! These chocolate covered frozen banana pops are a perfect summer treat. They are also fun to decorate with all the different topping combinations.
These frozen bananas taste great with just the smooth coating of chocolate, but sprinkling them with sweet toppings makes them all the more fun and festive!

Chocolate Covered Frozen Banana Toppings
There are lots of different toppings you can choose but some of our favorite are:
- Shredded coconut
- Crushed oreos
- Peanut butter and mini M&M candies
- Crushed pistachios

They are so easy and quick to make! Once you are done just store them in the freezer until you are ready to eat! They make a healthier alternative to sugar filled popsicles this summer!
How to make Chocolate Covered Frozen Banana Pops
INGREDIENTS
- 4 bananas
- Chocolate Melting Wafers
- 8 popsicle sticks or skewers
TOPPING OPTIONS:
- Colored or Chocolate Sprinkles
- Crush Oreos
- Granola
- Crushed nuts: pecans/pistachios
- Mini Chocolate Chips
- Coconut Flakes
- Crushed pretzels
- Carmel Drizzle
- White Chocolate Drizzle
- Melted Peanut Butter
- Fruity Pebble Cereal
Directions to Make Frozen Banana Pops
- Prepare the bananas by peeling them and cutting each in half.
- Stick a popsicle stick into the cut end of the banana. Press it in far enough so that the banana is stable, be careful not to puncture the banana.
- Melt the chocolate according to the package instructions.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set it next to the bananas and melted chocolate.
- Arrange out your toppings and drizzle into separate bowls
- Dip the bananas in the melted chocolate mixture. Use a spoon to assist you to help get more chocolate on the banana.
- Wait for the excess chocolate to drip off and then lay the banana flat on the parchment-lined sheet.
- Sprinkle any toppings over the top of the bananas while the chocolate is still wet.
- Put the tray of bananas in the freezer for 10 minutes for the chocolate to Harden.
- Store the bananas in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a week.
