Perfect Presentation Platters
This Puff Pastry Spider is so cute that you can serve right on a baking sheet once it cools! Or, you can transfer it carefully to these options:
Halloween Serving Platters: If you’d like to serve your Puff Pastry Spider on a festive plate, you may love this cute Jack-O’-Lantern platter or this Stoneware Ghost Platter (both from Pottery Barn), as well as this Marble Ghost Cheese Board from World Market. This black coffin-shaped tray is also spooky!
Individual Halloween Plates: Target has the cutest stoneware appetizer plates for just $3 each! This Jack-O’-Lantern plate would be perfect for this dish, and you may also love this ghost plate. They would also be cute to pair together!
Wooden Serving Trays: It is so convenient to use a wooden serving board for prep and to complete the look. For a larger choice, I love the double-handle on this option, or this rectangular tray. (Both at a great price!) Antique Farmhouse also has this beautiful set of three! If you’d prefer a round tray, I’d recommend this round wooden Target tray, which I get so much use out of year-round!
Kitchen Links: I get asked all the time about the products in the background of my kitchen. Much of it is from MacKenzie-Childs, which I have slowly grown a collection of over the years! My favorites are this checkered chopping board, my black and white checkered teapot, and the gray and white checkered utensil holder. I also have this enamel canister that you can find in small, medium, or large.
The Haunted House Candy Jar is from Pottery Barn!
Can I Prep This Puff Pastry Spider Ahead of Time?
Yes! You can prep this 1-2 days ahead of time and store in the refrigerator. I’d recommend waiting to add the egg wash until just prior to baking so the pastry doesn’t get too soggy.
Storing Leftovers
Store any leftovers in a Tupperware container and keep in the refrigerator, where it should stay fresh for several days. Reheat at 15-second intervals in the microwave if you’d prefer it warm.
Enjoy!
I hope you love this cute little Puff Pastry Spider! For more Halloween treats, check out this Adorable Spider Cheese Ball, this “Here for the Boos” Snackle Box, or this Halloween Kids’ Breakfast Board. Have a wonderful Halloween season!
