- Hot Cocoa Mix or Hot Cocoa Bombs
- Marshmallows
- Whipped Cream
- Seasonal Sprinkles
My Products:
In addition to those ingredients, I added these goodies to my Haunted Hot Cocoa Bar to make it a little bit extra:
Mugs: (From Target!)
Hot Chocolate Bombs (Also from Target!)
- Eyeball Hot Cocoa Bomb
- Skull Hot Cocoa Bomb
- Halloween Hot Cocoa Bomb
- Pumpking Hot Cocoa Bombs
- Witch’s Brew Marshmallow Topper
Kitchen Links: I get asked all the time about the products in the background of my kitchen. Much of it is from MacKenzie-Childs, which I have slowly grown a collection of over the years! My favorites are this checkered chopping board, my black and white checkered teapot, and the gray and white checkered utensil holder. I also have this enamel canister that you can find in small, medium, or large.
For the Halloween decor items, the cute Jack-O’-Lantern platter is from Pottery Barn and the Haunted House Candy Jar is MacKenzie-Childs.
Directions
This is really up to you! My favorite tips for an adorable Haunted Hot Cocoa Bar are:
- Use a food board as a base for the objects, or you can set up directly on a table or counter.
- Place the largest/tallest items in the back, such as the Hanging Cauldrons (if you are using them) or mugs.
- Then, make a second row of the next tallest items, such as the Mini Cauldrons or small bowls containing goodies like marshmallows.
- Place the smallest items in the front, such as Hot Cocoa Bombs.
- Make a “Haunted Hot Cocoa Bar” sign and place in a frame for an extra touch.

Can I Prep this Haunted Hot Cocoa Bar Ahead of Time?
Yes! You can definitely arrange the cauldrons and set out the supplies. I’d suggest waiting to unwrap the hot chocolate bombs and candy until within an hour of serving time. For the milk, keep it refrigerated until within about 20 minutes of serving time. Heating it will depend on the directions for your tea kettle or crock pot.
Storing Leftovers
Discard any leftover milk. You can place any of the leftover candy, marshmallows, or hot chocolate bombs in Ziploc bags to enjoy another time! These goodies should stay fresh for 2-3 weeks.
Happy Halloween!
